Jordan Scott makes a list

Jordan Scott was the #19 prospect in Baseball America's Appalachian League Top 20 prospect list, so named today.

Ya, Appalacian League, I was really excited before I read that. "We got a ranked top 20 player and he's not even a well known...oh, Appalacian top 20..." ha!

He did finish up the season in the NYPL...

Not to mention holding his own during a brief stay at Lexington before Greeneville's season started.

Jordan's a good kid with great contact skills, a little speed, good defense, and decent strikeout rate. I think he's got room to grow and develop a little power, too. I'd like to see Houston challenge him next year with some extended time at Lexington.
