McLane doesn't know when to pipe down

Drayton McLane apparently defied Selig's wishes when he held a press conference in May announcing Jim Crane as an owner. Today, despite an earlier report that the vote may not come until November, Drayton said that he thought the sale could be approved in the next 7-10 days.

“Baseball is being very careful. As you know, we move at our own pace in baseball. We all criticized Congress on the debt-ceiling deal, but baseball also has its own schedule for getting things done.”

Duuuuuude, stop.

Why should he pipe down, this moron Bud Selig has $650 million dollars sitting in a bank and you can bet that Drayton is waiting on that money to invest in a new business. If I was Drayton I would be doing everything in my power, including threatening to sue the commish and baseball. This process, and frankly Bud Selig's entire career, has been a joke.
