Maury Brown on why the approval was delayed

The Biz of Baseball's Maury Brown has a list of reasons as to why (perhaps) the vote on Jim Crane's approval was delayed by MLB.

Click the link for the full read, but the short list is:

*Crane's large list of owners
*Allegations of war profiteering and discrimination
*Backing out of the sale in 2008
*The amount of financing, in an effort to avoid a McCourt-like situation
*A move to the American League

Brown:
Commissioner Selig isn’t going to call the vote until there is complete consensus. Word is that could be in 10 days, or two weeks, or it’s entirely possible (although unlikely) that Crane is never approved and McLane goes back to the drawing board.

I know some of you have been critical of Brown, but the fact is, he's brought the noise to Crane more than anybody else.
