Rodney Quintero signing is official

Courtesy of McTaggart's Notebook, we see that the signing of 25th Round pick RHP Rodney Quintero has been made official.

Bobby Heck:
"He had an up-and-down year, but we saw more good than bad. We saw power stuff and a guy that needed to develop innings. He has a chance to be a middle- and maybe a back-end-of-the-rotation starter."

Quintero will head to Greeneville.

4 more left in negotiations. We already know Wates and Plutko are two, who are the other two?

Maybe Davis Duren? He apparently left his summer team earlier this summer due to personal reasons.

Zach Dygert is another possibility. He is a college senior so I dont know if he has any eligibility remaining.

Sorry, I didnt pay attention to the date on Duren, that was back in 2008. My mistake.
