Eddie's Farm: June 5

Round Rock

Nashville jumped out to an 8-2 lead - thanks to a 5-run 6th, and held off a late charge for a 9-6 win over Round Rock. Polin Trinidad threw 5.1IP, 11H/8R (7ER), 5K:0BB for the loss. Gary Majewski gave up a run in 1.2IP, and Evan Englebrook and Erick Abreu threw the last two scoreless innings. Chris Johnson was 3x5 (RBI), Jason Castro was 2x4 (RBI), and Drew Locke hit a three-run homer in the 8th for the Express' only extra-base hit.

Corpus

A four-run first inning by NW Arkansas pretty much took care of the game, and the Hooks lost 8-3. Jeremy Johnson threw 6IP, 8H/5R (4ER), 3K:2BB, while Erik Stiller gave up a two-run homer in the 7th. Jailen Peguero made his Corpus re-debut, throwing a perfect 8th inning, while T.J. Burton allowed a run on a hit and a walk in the 9th. David Cook was 2x4 with a solo homer, while Jon Gaston hit his third homer of the season - a two-run shot.

Lancaster

Look at that! Tied up 2-2 going into the 10th inning, Freddy Parejo and David Flores had two-out RBIs for a 4-2 win over Rancho Cucamonga. Kyle Greenwalt threw 7IP, 6H/2ER, 3K:0BB, while Mike Modica got the win, throwing two perfect innings, with David Berner getting his 7th save of the season. Jay Austin and Brandon Wikoff had two hits each.

Lexington

And Lexington keeps Eddie's Farm at .500 for the night with a 7-5 win over Hickory. Luis Cruz threw 5IP, 3H/2ER, 1K:1BB while Arcenio Leon made it interesting, giving up 3ER in the 6th. Jose Trinidad threw two perfect IP (striking out three), and Kirk Clark got his 11th save of the season. The Legends got 16 hits on the night, including four from Rene Garcia (4RBI), three from Our Boy Aaron Bray (2RBI), two each from J.D. Martinez, Jonathan Meyer, and Grant Hogue. Kody Hinze was 1x2, but drew three walks.
