Matchup for G63 - Astros @ Rangers

So the Astros are going to be running spot-starters in 40% of their rotation for the next little while, what with Paulino's bad hammy and Hampton taking his assigned seat on the Meat Wagon through the rest of interleague play. How will the Astros respond? Hard to say. But the September call-ups could begin in July if the next two weeks go poorly.

Russ Ortiz

Ortiz earned this start due to his last start against the Cubs, in which he threw 5.1IP, 3H/0ER, 5K:3BB. Incredibly, the 16 outs he recorded are the most of the season so far. Pitch count is still high, 92 pitches for 17ABs - 5+ per, on average.
