*The Astros have checked with the Braves on CF Ender Inciarte, and Jerry Crasnick says the Astros would likely need to move Carlos Gomez to make the move work. Inciarte is 25 years old, and posted a .747 OPS with the D'Backs in 2015 before being shipped to the Braves in the Shelby Miller deal.

*The Astros were one of twelve teams at cricketer Kieran Powell's workout. The 25-year old is looking for a signing bonus "close to $1m."
