Astros re-sign Tony Sipp

And here's your big news of the day, until something happens later that might be bigger. Or not. Whatever.

Tony Sipp has an agreement with the Astros on a three year deal. Big, important move.

This *is* big because as of right now Kevin Chapman is the only lefty option out of the bullpen. If the Astros have indeed re-signed Sipp, he fills an awfully big role.

UPDATE: Sipp's deal is 3yrs/$18m.

Not that it's my money, but this seems like a good deal given what relievers are getting this offseason. Jason Motte and John Axford each got 2yrs/$10m, while relievers like Soria, O'Day, Madson were in the $7-7.5m range.
