2011-2013 cumulative standings

We Astros fans have been through a lot. When this many losses stack up, it's easy to get beaten down by baseball. Right now, I have no desire to watch baseball outside of the Astros (and even then my wife is basically taking the batteries out of the remote, after she takes the shoelaces out of my shoes.) But it's important to put the last 2.5+ seasons in context. (Note: Records are valid through games played on Sunday, August 11.)

(For the life of me, I can't get the formatting right.) Just to make sure we're all seeing this correctly, the Astros, from the beginning of the 2011 season through Sunday's game, are 108 games back of the Rangers. They're 33.5 games back of the next-worst team.

Long story short: if you're still an Astros fan, stay an Astros fan. You've already put this much into it, might as well see it through.
