Peter Gammons apologizes

Last night Peter Gammons slammed Jim Crane for being among the owners who are trying to get rid of pension plans for non-uniformed personnel.

If owners like Glass and Crane win their vile battle to eliminate benefits for employees, part of Selig's legacy will be forever Koched.

But today he found out that Crane wasn't one of those owners.

MLB officials insist Jim Crane is absolutely not among leaders to eliminate pensions of non-uniformed personnel. So he gets apology.

Gammons continued:

And on support that in Jeff Luhnow, et al, he has brought in the right people to rebuild a crumbling organization

Good job all around, everybody. Gammons for apologizing, Crane for not trying to cut people's pensions.
