Jarred Cosart doesn't sound too happy.

Jarred Cosart tweeted this out a few minutes ago:

Sad when people from your own organization doubt you and your team. It's about time to silence critics. hey @astros I'm coming for ya

Whether this in reference to the Armando Galarraga signing (and subsequent assignment to Oklahoma City), or...I don't know. Whatever gets the motivation up, I guess...

Maybe if Cosart put more effort into his career than he does with his girl drama, he would be where he wants to be.

I think you're thinking of another top pitching prospect. I don't recall seeing anything from Cosart about girl problems.

I will say this; from what we've heard from Cosart, and from Norris while he was working with him over the offseason, he is a very driven individual. He's hungry for his shot and chomping at the bit to get there. I have a feeling when the time comes he'll be ready to hit the ground running.

Alright, my curiosity is piqued. Who is the prospect with the girl trouble? I'm not a twitter follower, and rely on others to pass on the important stuff. Not sure this counts as important though, but now that it is raised, I want to know. Is his girl unattractive? Does he have a confidence problem?

I suppose it could be about the recent signing, but that makes little sense to me. Cosart seems like a good guy, so I'll reserve judgement since I have no idea what he is talking about. However, he needs to start commanding his stuff so he can dominate. Then, people will believe.

No, I've got the right prospect. Last year his break up with his fiance was so much drama, news articles were written about it. Now, he's got a new girl and most of his tweets are about how he misses her. He's one of those guys who falls in love way to fast and lets it mess with his head.

She was hot as hell so I guess I don't blame him.

Interesting, I wasn't following him at the time so I've never heard about that one. It's easy to forget sometimes that most minor leaguers, top prospects or not, are still young kids, often just out of high school. It can be tough maturing in public.

FYI he has never been engaged!
