MLB Draft Insider has a new Mock Draft up, in which the Astros take Georgia HS OF Byron Buxton with the #1 overall pick.
They also project the 1-41 pick to be Oklahoma HS RHP Ty Hensley.

I would love us to not pick Buxton, since we just got Springer last year. I think we should do any of the top pitchers, then in the sup round pick up Nick Williams if he is still around. Then maybe a 3B in round 2.
Best player available! If that player happens to be at a position we're already loaded at, so be it. None of our prospects are "cant miss" prospects. In fact there is no such thing as a "cant miss" prospect. We're not guaranteed a future OF of Ovando, Springer, Santana.
I think we should take the best available player also but I would prefer a pitcher. I dream of days when we can have a dominate rotation, but I'll settle for at least a "big 3".
The new DH spot that comes with the move to the AL will provide us with flexibility to take the best player available.
