Bud Norris: Once a thrower, now a pitcher

Bud Norris' hometown paper (the Marin Independent-Journal) has an article about his "homecoming" to northern California. Everyone is proud, of course, including his mom - who wasn't sure if Bud set "unattainable" goals for himself:

"We're very proud of him. He's worked extremely hard to get where he's at. He set goals for himself that I sometimes thought were unattainable. But he's always attained his goals and he never ceases to amaze me with his accomplishments."

Doug Brocail:
"Here's the thing: I know how good Bud can be. I don't think still at this time Bud knows how good he can be. Bud is a kid that has No. 1 (starter's) stuff. And one day when he realizes it, he's going to be phenomenal."
