Hopefully those 6RBI will change Mills' mind

Now that Geoff Blum is back, it seems as though he will be seeing the majority of his time at shortstop.

Astros manager Brad Mills said Blum will see most of his playing time at shortstop.

"At the same time, because he is so versatile, we can see him anywhere," Mills said.

And now you may slam your genitals in the refrigerator.

There's an important distinction to make between most of HIS playing time and most of THE playing time. Hopefully he plays no more than once a week at short, plus the occasional pinch hit, and that's it.

Excellent point.

How is this getting younger and better, Blum is a good off the bench player. How is Sanchez not the future at short, at least for the next year or two, Manzella has not shown this potential at the plate and as far as I can tell they are equal defenders.

I can't see Millsie benching Sanchez. Just can't see it. Even when Manzella returns. M.
