Cardinals may be realizing the Astros don't want to deal Roy to them

Within the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Derrick Goold's Cardinals Beat tonight, Cardinals GM John Mozeliak is backing off the possibility they'll get Roy:

"We're continuing to explore a number of things, it doesn't look great right now...Certainly, nothing is imminent at this time."

Goold:
This wouldn't be the first time the Cardinals front office has downplayed the possibility of a deadline deal. However, Haren's removal from the trade market likely makes the asking price in personnel for Houston Astros ace Roy Oswalt too high for the Cardinals' tastes. A club source indicated Saturday that the Astros' discomfort trading Oswalt within the NL Central likely makes a match impossible between the two rivals.

The injured Kyle Lohse will make a rehab start tomorrow night for Memphis, and the Cardinals will likely decide how aggressive they'll be following his outing.
