Lineup for ST5: Astros v. Blue Jays

Alyson Footer posted a picture of the lineup card for today's game vs. Toronto:

1. Bourn - CF
2. Towles - DH
3. Berkman - 1B
4. Lee - LF
5. Pence - RF
6. Johnson - 3B
7. Castro - C
8. Manzella - SS
9. Keppinger - 2B

So Matsui is out of the lineup, and Towles and Castro are getting the majority of the ABs in the "A" games. Cumulative Spring Training stats coming up after the game today.

Besides the whole DH thing, this seems like the most realistic lineup we've seen so far.

Agreed. Hopefully the most realistic lineup is one leaving out Matsui. I'd rather the Astros play a foosball player - metal rod and everything - than Matsui.

Especially considering Levine's comments you posted above. Hopefully we can somehow get rid of Matsui. I just don't see the point in having him in Houston anymore

I think the point of keeping Matsui is to avoid paying him not to play, and just hoping that he'll provide something

Yeah, its not like we have anyone formidable to replace him with in the farm. We should have gotten Felipe Lopez.

Yes, the Astros don't see to understand the concept of a sunk cost.
