Not that this has anything to do with Houston, because there was likely no scenario in which Hampton would be brought back, but
Hampton underwent surgery to fix a partially torn rotator cuff and damage to his labrum. The surgery was successful, and Astros County wishes him luck in returning from this in 2011.
