Since May 1...

Going into May 1, the Astros were 9-14. They are now 30-34, including five losses to the Rangers. One of the things I was curious about was how the Astros' hitters are faring since the first month of the season. Let's take us a gander...

A couple of notes on this little exercise.
-The sample size is smaller, but Quintero is killing the ball lately - hitting .368 in June. He's not presently in danger of taking Pudge's job, but you can bet if offers start rolling in for Pudge, the Astros will (hopefully) start listening a little more closely.
-Bourn has 72 hits through 64 games. In 2008, Bourn didn't get his 72nd hit until July 22. Through 64 games, Bourn is hitting .295/.370/.406 . Through 64 games of 2008, Bourn was hitting .224/.281/.309.
